ONE DAY ACTIVITY

Visit a winery

With a visit to a local winery, you’ll have a first-rate opportunity to see from up-close the cultivation of vineyards, to learn about the wine production process and all the wine varieties. The visit ends with a tasting accompanied by light dishes.

Courses on traditional dishes and desserts

The close relationship of people with the land and the products of their labor were reflected in the traditional cuisine of the island. People took advantage of each wrist, to produce food and sweets, while several of them are connected with the traditions, the manners and the customs.
Through traditional cooking recipes, you learn about the civilization and the culture of the nisyrian society, while you learn how to prepare the dishes step by step. After the cooking, you can enjoy your creations, accompanied by a glass of wine or another local product.

Monitoring the manufacture of traditional cheeses

When we talk about livestock in Nisyros, we mean basically the kid. The goat and the lamb was reared principle for milk and secondarily for their meat. Milk is the raw material for yogurt and cheese, where the variety of cheese is wide, with the first and the best cheese, the sakouliasti and cheese of tyrias (local cheese baked in red wine).
